There were 3 defensive bombs attacked by KIA forces against Burmese intrusion into KIA control areas on 12 January 2012 the same day. The first bombs attacked led by KIA forces under L/D Maji Gam Seng command Map Ref: 5108380, against about 250 Burmese soldiers under ts-ka-hka and ma-pa-hka troops from Nam Ya village under Hpakan town Kachin State. Many of injured Burmese soldier are taken away by Tri cycle from Nam Ya village.

There was second bombs attacked led by G/J Lasam Gam Seng against about 30 of Burmese soldiers from Lawng Hkang in between Nam Jan zup and Phan Hkajawng, Map Ref: KJ 365440 at 1145am Burma time. In this bombs explosion has killed 1 Lieutenant commander and 2 soldiers on the spot and 1 captain die in Lawng Hkang hospital and 8 other soldiers were seriously injured according to eyes witness report.

There was third bomb attacked against about 23 Burmese soldiers camping behind Mazup Yang Church at 1245noon Burma time according to eyes witness report. The fierce civil war by Burmese military is unstoppable in spite of United States and British Leaders recent visit to encourage Burma’s reforming and reconciliation with ethnic Kachin and other ethnic groups.
