On 23May2012, there were (2) ambush defensive assault in Dum Bang village by 5th Brigade KIA Task Force against Burmese soldiers. The assault took placed due to Burmese soldiers aggression with more than 30 horses have crossing into KIA control areas with supplier and weapons. According to front line report, first assault took place at 3:30am local time and follow by second assault at 10:30am to defend against Burmese soldiers intrusion and offensive attack. Since 09 June 2011, Burmese military has declare civil war again Kachin people and KIA , over 160 Burmese Battalion forces have been deployed in Kachin State. Many of Burmese soldiers have been killed in the offensive civil war against KIA. Among them some are family man and others are young Burmese soldiers. In spite of heavy losses life of Burmese soldiers and current reform in Yangon, still continue to deploy more and more soldiers, artillery, assault helicopter and weapons into Kachin State.
