ကခ်င္ျပည္နယ္ ေကအုိင္အုိအစုိးရ အေနာက္ပုိင္းတုိင္း တပ္မဟာ (၂) အုပ္ခ်ဳပ္နယ္ေျမျဖစ္ေသာ ဖားကန္႔ေဒသ လံုးခင္းနယ္ ကထန္ယန္ေက်းရြာတြင္ ဇန္န၀ါရီ (၁၃) ရက္ေန႔ မနက္ (၆း၀၀) နာရီအခ်ိန္ခန္႔တြင္ ေကအုိင္ေအမ်ိဳးခ်စ္ရဲေဘာ္မ်ားႏွင့္ ဗမာစစ္တပ္သုိ႔ တုိက္ပြဲျဖစ္ပြားခဲ့ေၾကာင္း သတင္းရရွိ ပါသည္။ တုိက္ပြဲျဖစ္ပြားရျခင္း အေၾကာင္းရင္းမွာ ဖားကန္႔ေဒသသုိ႔ ဗမာစစ္ေၾကာင္းမ်ား ထုိးစစ္ဆင္လာ ေသာေၾကာင့္ ေကအုိင္ေအ မ်ိဳးခ်စ္ရဲေဘာ္မ်ား ခုခံတုိက္ခုိက္ရျခင္းျဖစ္ျပီး၊ စစ္ပြဲေၾကာင္း အနီးတ၀ုိက္ရွိ ျပည္သူမ်ား လံုးခင္း၊ ေမာ္စီစာ ရွိ ဘုေရားေက်ာင္း၊ ဘုန္းၾကီးေက်ာင္းမ်ားသုိ႔ အမ်ားအျပား ေရာက္ရွိ ခုိလံု လာၾကေၾကာင္း သတင္းရရွိပါသည္။

There was a battle between KIA patriotic soldiers and Burmese troops in Ka Htang Yang village, Lung Hkang township and Hpakant region, KIA (2nd) brigade area at 06:00 AM on 13rd January according to KIA front line officer report. One of the reason of battling was due to Burmese Government troops launched an offensive action to the Hpa Kant area and KIA prevented them. Now, the civilians hide in Lung Hkang and Maw Si Zaw churches and monasteries.
