Only 25 bags of rice enough for three days are available for over 1,000 Kachin Refugees. The Burmese army disallows anyone to leave the camp while denying to outsides.
People wishing to help now face a dilemma delivering the much-needed aid to these helpless IDPs, who are being held hostage by the army.
The IDPs/Refugees' right to humanitarian assistance is being callously denied. This is a crime committed by the state against its own people.
